Little Nachman Part 5
2008-05-18 · 105 words
On the way to the synagogue, Nachman’s friends saw him and called, "Hey Nachman! Nachman! Come on over to our side of the street and play with us!"
Nachman only smiled at them. He thought to himself, "I’d rather go to the synagogue with my father, to thank Hashem and to pray with joy."
The burning candles, the holy ark with the Torah scrolls, and the atmosphere of holiness deeply awed and inspired little Nachman. He held a siddur, a prayerbook, close to his heart, closed his eyes, and prayed with all his might to Hashem.
